How we handle your information at Pup Central.
This is a plain-language draft covering what the booking system actually collects and does — it hasn't been reviewed by a solicitor, so treat it as a starting point rather than finished legal advice.
What we collect
When you book grooming or home boarding, we collect your name, phone number, email address, and (for home boarding) your address. We also collect details about your dog: breed, age, date of birth, microchip number, vaccination records, medical and dietary needs, behaviour notes, and your vet's contact details. If you opt in, we take photos and videos of your dog during their stay to share updates with you.
Why we collect it
Solely to run the boarding and grooming service safely — confirming bookings, preparing for your dog's stay, contacting your vet in an emergency, and sending you updates and reminders (like vaccine renewal or collection times).
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run the booking system:
- Supabase — stores booking and dog records
- Resend — sends booking and reminder emails
- SumUp — processes payments
- Google Calendar — internal scheduling for Pup Central staff
We don't sell or share your information with anyone else.
How long we keep it
We keep booking and dog records for as long as needed to provide the service and meet our licensing obligations with Trafford Council. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see contact details below), and we'll do so unless we're required to keep it for legal reasons.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you can ask to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you at any time.
